Privacy policy

What I collect

• Your email address when you subscribe to the newsletter.
• Account details when you sign up: your email, your name if you provide one, and sign-in metadata handled by my authentication provider.
• Billing details when you buy a membership. Card numbers go straight to my payment processor. I never see or store them. I keep the customer and subscription identifiers needed to manage your access.
• Basic server logs, such as request metadata and IP address, kept for security and reliability. Secrets are redacted before anything is written down.

Cookies

I use a session cookie to keep you signed in. There are no advertising cookies and no third-party analytics trackers on this site.

Who processes your data

A few trusted services run parts of this site on my behalf: Clerk for authentication, Stripe for payments, and Resend for sending email. Each receives only what it needs to do its job, and each has its own privacy terms.

How I use it

To send the newsletter you asked for, to give members the access they paid for, to process payments, and to keep the service secure and working.

Keeping and removing data

I keep your email on the list until you unsubscribe, which you can do from any issue. I keep account and billing records while your membership is active and for as long as I need them for legal and accounting reasons. You can ask me to close your account and remove your data.

Security

Traffic is served over encrypted connections and access to member data is restricted. No system is perfect, but I take reasonable steps to protect what I hold.

Children

This site is not directed at children and I do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

If this policy changes, I will update it here and change the date above.
